When will Vantara Jamnagar open to the public? Get details on Vantara zoo's entry fees, timings, and future plans for wildlife conservation.

‘Vantara’ the most ambitious wildlife conservation project in India-was inaugurated on February 26th 2024 today with Prime Minister Narendra Modi gracing the opening day. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant to celebrate the opening of the 3,000 acre wildlife sanctuary. The inauguration marked a great occasion for Vantara but it is still not open for visitors.

When Will Vantara Open to the Public?

Although the launching of Vantara took place today,  Anant Ambani has announced that the opening to the public will be soon in the future. While the immediate goal will be that of rescue and rehabilitation, future plans include the making of an educational center for biodiversity conservation with the practices of other zoos around the world such as animal care and conservation of endangered species.

Once operational for visitors, it is expected to offer guided tours and immersive experiences showcasing the care and preservation of endangered species.

Wildlife Centre Entry Fees & Details:

The fee has not been disclosed as the place is yet to be open for visitors. Still, being big and aiming to address various sections of society, it is likely that Vantara will introduce a proper fee schedule possibly including specialized programs on education, guided safaris and conservation awareness programs. More information is likely to be announced as the date for public opening approaches.
