Tirumala Tirupati temple which is dedicated to lord Venkateswara is one of the pivotal holy places of vaishnavism all over India. The administration of the temple will reveal the important dates and festivals which are practised every year on their official website “Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams” (TTD). The key festivals which are going to take place at the Srivari Temple in the February month have been disclosed along with the rest of the year. This could help the devotees to slate their upcoming plans accordingly.
“Ratha Saptami” is a prominent festival which takes place on February 4 with a series of vibrant ceremonies and vehicle parades in which Lord Malayappa Swamy will be carried in procession on seven different vehicles on the auspicious day. Here are the timing schedule of the vehicle parade,
Surya Prabha Vahanam – 5.30 am to 8.00 am
Small Relic Vehicle – 9 am to 10 am
Garuda Vahanam – 11 am to 12 pm
Hanuman Vahanam – 1 pm to 2 pm
Chakrasnanam – 2 pm to 3 pm
Kalpavriksha Vahanam – 4 pm to 5 pm
Sarvabhupala Vahanam – 6 pm to 7 pm
Chandraprabha Vahanam – 8 pm to 9 pm
The temple administration has also announced that on Feb 3, 2025 “no recommendation letters will be accepted for break darshans”.
