Tiger Shroff’s upcoming movie Baaghi 4’s poster was released on March 2nd 2025 on his 35th birthday which led to a heated controversy. Whereas his fans were all tricked in him returning to the action franchise, several netizens called the film just the other ‘Animal’ hangover. The poster with gritty rugged bearded Tiger arose comparisons to Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming untitled project with Anurag Basu as well.

Some also dragged in Kartik Aaryan’s film into the conversation saying that both projects appeared to be riding on the weight of Animal’s success. One comment read, “Whether it’s Kartik in Basu’s next or Tiger in Baaghi 4, what’s with the Animal hangover?”

Soon after Tiger shared the poster on Instagram discussions in Reddit erupted with fans lamenting that Bollywood was lacking in originality. One user wrote that “If something works once, Bollywood will beat you to death with it.”
Another added, “Seriously, these guys think growing a beard and growling will make them look intense. Where’s the originality?”
Despite the criticism Tiger Shroff expressed gratitude for the Baaghi franchise stating, “This franchise gave me my identity… I hope you guys accept him the way you did 8 years ago.” While some fans continue to support the film, others remain skeptical, calling for more creativity in Bollywood’s storytelling.
