Ranji Trophy Semi-Final Day 2: Kerala Sustains with Sachin’s anchoring knock against Gujarat

Sachin Baby’s first half-century has been registered at the world largest stadium, NM Stadium against the home team Gujarat in the second day of the Ranji Trophy Semi-final.

The knock-out Ranji Trophy semi-final began on February 17,2025 at NA Stadium between Kerala and Gujarat. The day 2 began with the outstanding performance by the Kerala skipper Sachin Baby who made his much needed half century after three months for his team which anchored their stay on the field in the first innings deeply. Though Kerala won the toss and chose to bat first, they were encountering the setbacks in the earlier stage, which was balanced by Sachin’s composed 69 off 193 balls.

Sachin Baby constructed a cement partnership along with the tremendous batter who remained on the field even after the end of Day 1, Mohammed Azharuddeen. He continues his seamless contribution to his team and still stands at 83 off 160 balls with Salman Nizar.
