The 2 minutes 48 seconds trailer of John Abraham’s “The Diplomat” has been unveiled today. It showcases the story of an Indian girl who is forcibly married to a groom in Pakistan. She seeks the aid of the Indian government to rescue her from the domestic violence and emotional pressure imposed by her husband. John portrays the role of a diplomat and investigates the real motive behind her arrival to India. The trailer doesn’t allow us to predict the character of the Indian girl and the story behind this true incident. It attracts the audiences and feels the goosebump moment when the nostalgic “AR Rahman’s – Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyara Hai” plays in the background.
The trailer induces the curiosity of fans with its perfect cuts and to know what really happened to her and how she made her way back to her home.
