A new theory has been going on the internet that Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter (now X) and Square is the reason behind Bitcoin. First promoted by deBanked’s editor in chief Sean Murray, the theory preaches a series of astoundingly random happenings and timeline coincidences which actually suggest Dorsey’s involvement.
Murray directly notes Dorsey’s zealous interests in cryptography dating back to his college days, together with his utter admiration for cypherpunk culture. Dorsey mentions working on the cryptography till the late hours, around that very moment when Bitcoin’s original code documentation received its timestamp. His ideas of financial independence come close to the aims of Bitcoin.
This has left many observers with more perplexing coincidences. For one, the very first Bitcoin transaction was called on Dorsey’s mother’s birthday and Satoshi’s final post came just after Dorsey started Square. Another time Dorsey called himself a ‘sailor’ on his Twitter profile, a line from the original Bitcoin code that states “Never go to sea with two chronometers”

Member of ACM in 1997 to at…
Some analysts would dismiss all of these allegations, with others continuing to speculate on whether Dorsey may be the true creator of Bitcoin. And with Nakamoto remaining an elusive specter, this new theory can only add fuel to that fire.
