Delhi’s Next CM to Take Oath on Feb 20 at Ramlila Maidan

BJP is considering several prominent leaders for the post of Chief Minister. Among top contenders stands Parvesh Verma who has been in the news for having trounced Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency. Another contender with an equally strong claim is Vijender Gupta, an experienced legislator and former Delhi BJP president.

Also vying for the nomination is Rekha Gupta, MLA-elect from Shalimar Bagh representing a bet for the first female leadership in the party. A strong candidate for the post is also Satish Upadhyay, another former Delhi BJP president especially known for his organizational work. Ashish Sood’s name is also in circulation for the CM seat but a surprise pick can also be in the new CM position.

The official announcement is later today by 7 pm in the night!
