Today Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) for 2024 has been released ranking 180 countries and territories based on perceived public sector corruption. 

The CPI scores range from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).

The ranking of India is not satisfactory. The corruption Index ranking of India fell compared to the previous year’s ranking. This year India scored 38 and ranked at 96  position among 180 nations. In 2023, its rank in India was 93, and in the year 2022 it was 85.

What is the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) of China, Pakistan, and Asian Nations?

According to the report, China is ranked 76, Srilanka secured the position of 121, Pakistan is 135, and another nation Bangladesh is 149.
