The youngest among the team, Vaibhav Suryavanshi debuted in first class cricket at the age of 12. The Bihar born player was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.1 crore. With his superb T20 performances such as an India U19 century, Suryavanshi’s raw potential is thrilling.
Robin Minz (Mumbai Indians)
Having missed his debut due to a road accident, 22 year old Jharkhand wicketkeeper and batter Robin Minz is set to burst onto the scene. With an explosive batting style and a T20 strike rate of 181, Minz was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 65 lakh, over two times his base price. His big hitting capability makes him a game changer.
Suryansh Shedge (Punjab Kings)
Suryansh Shedge, one of the breakout stars of 2024, left everyone in awe with a match winning innings of 36 off 15 balls in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final. He scored 131 runs and had a strike rate of 251.92 in the tournament along with eight wickets. Punjab Kings purchased him for Rs 30 lakh. Shedge’s all round skills make him one of the best prospects.
C Andre Siddarth (Chennai Super Kings)
Tamil Nadu’s 18 year old Andre Siddarth was the bright light in the Ranji Trophy with 612 runs at an average of 68.00. A talented all rounder, the TNPL game has created hope as he transitions to the IPL with Chennai Super Kings.
Bevon Jacobs (Mumbai Indians)
Pretoria born Bevon Jacobs is a powerful presence with a T20 strike rate of 189. Jacobs was signed by Mumbai Indians for Rs 20 lakh after impressing in New Zealand’s domestic leagues. His quick scoring ability makes him an exciting addition to the team.
