India carved another piece of history with the win over New Zealand in the final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday claiming its third ICC Champions Trophy title.
With poise and pride, India chased down 252 runs to seal victory in style with Jadeja’s last ball boundary! This victory not only enhances India’s image as the most successful champions in the history of the tournament but also gives it the distinction of having three titles – one in 2002 (joint winners with Sri Lanka) another in 2013 defeating England and now this one in 2025 surpassing Australia’s two titles.
