Maharashtra to welcome India’s first ‘Agricultural Convention and Exhibition Center’

The brand new convention and exhibition center aims to promote and upheld the farmers and their products.

With the aim of fostering agricultural innovation, education, trade, for the farmers and stakeholders across the nation, the government of India has planned to bring India’s first International Agricultural Convention and Exhibition Center in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The expected impact through this wonderful center is providing training to farmers about the modern agricultural technologies, giving access to markets and enhancing the income & productivity of farmers.

International Agricultural Convention and Exhibition Center

  • Location – Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dhaba Nagpur
  • Budget – ₹227.46 crore 
  • Facilities – Convention hall, 2000 seat auditorium, specialized laboratories for soil testing, bio-technology, tissue culture, & bio-fertilizer production.
  • The whole center will be equipped with solar panels as a part of emphasizing the usage of renewable energy.
