Abhishek Sharma and his trailblazing records in IPL

The 24 year old standout batter Abhishek Sharma is still trending for his unforgettable knock against Punjab Kings.

The modern day T20 cricket has undergone a huge transformation after the arrival of young and energetic players who exhibit an undaunted approach both in bowling and batting at any stage of game. Such timeless young talents are found in one of the highly celebrated leagues “IPL- Indian Premier League”.

Abhishek Sharma, a left hand batsman & left-arm orthodox spin bowler who was initially found by the IPL team Delhi Capitals (earlier Delhi Daredevils) and made his debut on 12 May 2018. His conviction over his skills and potential was visible with his 46 runs off 19 balls on his very first match. The very next year he was traded to one of the successful franchises SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad) in 2019 and his journey in the orange army still continues. He replaced the void of former legendary players of SRH like Shikar, Williamson and Aiden Markram

His recent century against Punjab Kings brought back the shine and spirit of his team after their back to back smashing losses. And the day became even more memorable with his cute gesture of “This One is for Orange Army” note stole the hearts of many cricket fans. The words of good mouth continue to follow him during his tour in the Blue Jersey too.
