CBSE Board Exams 2025 Begins Today: Key Guidelines for Students

CBSE Board Exams 2025 are starting today with over 42 lakh students. Be ready with the guidelines regarding entry restrictions, dress code and prohibited items.

The much awaited CBSE board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 for the year 2025 will be commencing today, February 15 2025 with around 42 lakh students registering from over 7,842 centres located in India and 26 international centers. The board exams will continue till March 18 for Class 10 students and till April 4 for Class 12 students.

CBSE Board Exams For Class 10

CBSE undertook a live webcast on February 14 to train all examination officials regarding rules and duties, in order to ensure smooth conduct of examinations. This live session, which aimed to familiarize centre superintendents, exam coordinators and other officials with some of the critical information that may be useful to them, was available on the official CBSE YouTube channel.

Students who are ready to appear for their exams should keep the following guidelines in mind:

Entry Restrictions: Students must arrive early for their exam since no students will be granted entry after 10am into the exam centre.

Dress Code: Students must dress in their school uniform and bring only permitted stationary items to the examination hall.

Prohibited Items: Bringing smartwatches, cell phones and any electronic devices will result in disqualification.

Admit Card & ID: Students must carry both their CBSE admit card and the school ID for verification.

For Class 10 the first exam is English, it starts from 10:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm.

For Class 12 students it is an entrepreneurship exam during the same time.
