Who is Vaibhav Sooryavanshi?
Hailing from Bihar, India Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a cricketing prodigy and has the killer ability to be an explosive freestyle batsman who can also spin the ball when needed. The focus has always been on the young man as Rajasthan Royals bought him in the auction for 1.1 crores and from getting an IPL contract at the age of 13. His father is said to be a farmer and a freelance journalist, as reported by the Indian Media.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi – Career So Far
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made his domestic debut at 12 in Ranji Trophy and was selected to play for India U-19 to play against Australia, where he scored a 58 ball century – an impressive feat as he joined the lone record setter England’s Moeen Ali who set the fastest in 2005.
Apart from the focus on his young age, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made certain that the talk was not just about his age as he announced his own presence by an audacious six, hitting the seasoned IPL bowler Shardul Thakur on his first ball! The shot ignited chants and hope across the stadium as Sooryavanshi continued his form as he picked Avesh Khan for another six, clearing his front leg.
Even though RR lost the game, Sooryavanshi’s 34 runs off 20 deliveries and a 85 run partnership between Jaiswal was monumental in bringing the heat to the match.

Michael Vaughn took it to his X page, posting, “This is Incredible” while high praise from former Indian Cricketer Suresh Raina who predicted the youngster by saying, “He will rule cricket in the future.
