Who is Orry? The Viral Celebrity Now Booked for Drinking Near Vaishno Devi 

Orhan Awatramani popularly known as Orry is one of the Bollywood socialites and influencers known for his high-profile relationships with celebs. He can be seen partying with many of the biggest stars of Bollywood. By virtue of his infamous persona, Orry has garnered himself a name in the social media for his extravagant lifestyle, sense of style and friendship with many A-listers.

What Case Was Orry Booked For?

On March 15th 2025, Jammu and Kashmir police filed an FIR against Orry, seven others and one Russian national at a hotel at Katra base camp for Vaishno Devi pilgrims alleging consumption of alcohol. They said that alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly not allowed in Katra due to its religious significance. The FIR was registered after a directive was issued by the District Magistrate for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

Case Details and Police Action:

Reasi Senior Superintendent of Police Paramvir Singh ordered a directive for immediate action with “zero tolerance” for such acts at religious shrines. The group had been informed about the ban of alcohol and still did so. The police have promised strict action against violators emphasizing on maintaining respect for religious places.
