Women Power on Display as PM Modi’s Social Media Gets a Special Takeover

Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over his social media handles to exemplary women from various fields to share their life experience and to motivate all the women across India as a Women’s day special.

In honor of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over his social media handles. He passed over the handle to exemplary women from diverse fields, paying tribute to their accomplishments and inspiring millions more. 

Chess Grandmaster Vaishali, nuclear scientist Elina Mishra, space scientist Shilpi Soni, entrepreneur Anita Devi, social entrepreneur Ajaita Shah and accessibility advocate Anjlee Agarwal turned in by posting from PM Modi’s X handle and shared something about their life and motivating lessons to all women and family out there. 

PM Modi’s initiative showcased the remarkable achievements of Indian women and reinforced the government’s commitment to empowering ‘Nari Shakti’ across all sectors. 

Vaishali Rameshbabu (Chess Grandmaster):

The chess prodigy expressed her excitement at taking over PM Modi’s X account and spoke about the pride of representing India in global tournaments. She encouraged young girls to pursue their dreams fearlessly and called for greater support for women in sports.

Elina Mishra (Nuclear Scientist):

Mishra described the colourful scientific avenues in India and urged more women to choose some career in science. She discussed her journey at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and her contributions to the field of accelerator physics. 

Shilpi Soni (Space Scientist):

Soni shared her experience of working in ISRO after a mindset of working with DRDO wherein she contributed to more than 35 communication and navigation missions. She emphasized on women’s participation in space research. 

Anita Devi (Rural Entrepreneur):

Through mushroom cultivation and agricultural entrepreneurship, Devi, founder of Madhopur Farmers Producer Company, talked about empowering women, creating jobs and self-dependence in rural Bihar.

Ajaita Shah (Social Entrepreneur):

Shah elaborated on her works to empower 35,000 rural women entrepreneurs by bridging the gap between unserved markets and income opportunities to encourage financial independence. 

Anjlee Agarwal (Accessibility Advocate):

Agarwal called for improved infrastructure and inclusive mobility for people with disabilities, emphasizing the need for accessibility in schools and public spaces across India.
